Artist's Comments

I wanted the whole rock in the bottom left corner in the frame, but if I pointed the camera any more downwards, another rock would've been visible.

Location: Fishermans Beach, Albufeira, Portugal. (click for map).

Filter: Heliopan polarizer. Cokin P121.

Edited with Lightroom and Photoshop CS2.

Edit 22 feb.: Brightened the sky a little agian as I think I dodged it a little too much.

No worries. Actually the way the rock stands right not, with its shape it help keep your eye in the picture. Kinda like a rubber bumber for your vision ya know.

Beautiful colors by the way

This is a wonderful picture of long exposure water. The bottom left rock adds as a nice feature. The use of rule of thirds is very pleasing :D

Thanks a lot. I always pay attention to the rule of thirds. :)
